Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. The services offered here are coaching, not therapy. Coaching is forward-focused and centers on awareness, accountability, and relational patterns. It does not include diagnosis, treatment of mental health conditions, crisis support, or clinical documentation.
    That said, my work is informed by over 15 years of experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

  • Coaching allows us to focus on present-day patterns and meaningful change without the structure of therapy. It’s ideal for individuals and couples who aren’t in crisis but know something needs to shift and are ready to take an active role.

  • Coaching may be a good fit if you want deeper emotional awareness, feel stuck in repeating relationship patterns, and are open to examining how you show up in relationships.

  • Coaching is not appropriate for those in crisis, seeking mental health diagnosis or treatment, or needing intensive clinical or trauma-focused care. Therapy or emergency services may be more appropriate in those cases.

  • Both. Some clients come individually to work on personal patterns, boundaries, or emotional responses. Others come as couples to better understand their dynamic and reconnect in a more intentional way.

  • Sessions are conversational and reflective. We slow things down, explore patterns as they show up in real time, and work toward clearer communication and intentional change.

  • Yes. Sessions are recorded so you can revisit conversations and reflect between sessions. Recordings are for your personal use only, stored securely, and are not part of a clinical, medical, or legal record.

  • Yes. While coaching is not therapy and does not involve clinical records, your privacy is respected. Sessions and recordings are not shared, and you’re encouraged to share only what feels appropriate for you.

  • Yes. All sessions are held virtually, allowing you to meet from a private, familiar space.

  • No. Coaching services are private pay and are not billed to insurance.
